This is the group business introduction page of KITAMURA HOLDINGS Co., Ltd.
We conduct businesses in two domains: “Photo-life Services,” which focus on imaging fields including photographs and video, and “Camera & Resale,” which engages in the sale and resale of cameras.
Our Group business strategy is formulated based on customer contact points and sales channels.
Our business segments are divided into three segments: “Kitamura Camera Business,” “Photo E-commerce Business,” and “Photo B-to-B Business.”

Kitamura Camera Business
Through the stores (such as "Kitamura Camera") and the e-commerce website operated by KITAMURA CO., Ltd., we sell new and used cameras, camera accessories, and imaging products, and provide photography services.
Camera Sales
We sell new cameras and camera accessories products, with no particular partiality towards any specific camera or lens manufacturers. We select products and combinations of products that best fit our customers’ needs from our wide lineup of products, including used cameras and used lenses in addition to new cameras, in order to accommodate an increasingly diverse range of customer photography requirements.
Resale
We buy and sell used cameras, used brand watches, and similar products. As products can be sent over from stores nationwide, we are able to choose from a wide selection, in order to suggest products that meet our customers’ needs. In addition to buying used products that customers bring into our stores, we also buy used products from customers online and through the mail, and by visiting customer sites on request.
Photo Printing
We sell various imaging products such as photo prints, photo books, and New Year’s photo postcards. In addition to in-store photo printing, we also provide online printing services through which customers can place orders online and pick up their completed prints at our stores.
Solution Services
We provide camera maintenance and repair services, smartphone workshops for seniors, photo and video digitalization services, and other services that solve our customers’ camera, photography, and video-related problems. In addition, we are an authorized Apple service provider, and provide repair services for Apple products.
Studios and Photography
We provide ID photo services for use in job applications, and for various licenses, applications, passports, and the like. Our ID photo services meet customer needs by providing additional retouching services.
At “Studio Mario,” professional photographers take photographs of special occasions in our customers’ lives, such as children’s Shichi-go-san ceremony photographs, school entrance ceremony photographs, and coming-of-age day photographs.
Sales of Other Merchandise
Through our “Kitamura Camera” stores and our “Kitamura Net Shop” e-commerce website, we sell camera accessories and photo-related products other than those in our Camera Sales & Resale categories, along with appliances, mobile devices, and other products. Our “Kitamura Net Shop” carries an extensive lineup and offers customers the options of home delivery or free pick-up services at our stores.
Photo E-commerce Business
“Shimauma Print,” the e-commerce website operated by Shimauma Print, Inc., sells photo-related products such as photo prints, photo books, and offers printing services for custom New Year’s photo postcards.
In addition, Photocreate Co., Ltd. sells photographs through “All Sports Community,” an online website that sells photographs of participants in events such as marathons.
Photo B-to-B Business
LaboNetwork Co., Ltd. creates photo e-commerce systems for photography-related enterprises outside of the Kitamura Group (such as the “snapsnap” browsing and purchasing service for school photos, and the “Gloriare” browsing and purchasing service for wedding photos), as well as photo printing and other services on consignment.
